Catholic Democrats is a non-profit advocacy organization whose mission is to advance the rich Catholic Social Justice Tradition in the public square and within the Democratic Party to help form a more just society and peaceful world, and to responsibly protect God’s creation and advance our understanding of an “integral ecology.” The organization represents a Catholic voice within the Democratic Party and a Democratic voice within the Catholic Church. Catholic Democrats has more than 25,000 supporters throughout all 50 states. The 12,000 + people who follow Catholic Democrats on Twitter represent one of the largest Twitter followings of any independent Catholic organization.
